The other day at work I spotted a bulky object in the dumpster that looked a bit out of place, so I decided to check it out. It was a portable speaker that somebody was throwing away. I thought “No Way! I bet I can fix it”, and when I pulled it out of there and dusted it off, I hoped that it wasn’t anything major. It wouldn’t power on, but that’s not unusual given that most speakers have a battery life of only a few hours anyway. I noticed that the charging port was completely broken off inside of the unit and figured that must be why this person decided to throw it away. If only they had known that this was a relatively simple thing to fix they probably would not have thrown it away. Luckily for me, I knew just how to fix it and I managed to get it working like new in no time. I love this speaker, it is light, but also packs quite a lot of power too! I already have a couple of speakers though, so I decided to put it up for sale on my store. You know what they say: “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure”!
