AMC movie theaters offers a membership program that rewards movie fanatics with some pretty amazing discounts. I gained an interest in going back to the movies upon the long(much too long) awaited release of “Avatar: The way of Water”. I was buying tickets online to go see it when I first stumbled upon the AMC Stubs membership program. There are 3 tiers to the program: Insider, Premier, and A-List. I was able to join the bottom tier(Insider) for free and instantly get the “convenience Fee” (Associated with buying tickets online) waived, and I figured I would do more research on the paid membership tiers and think about it some more before I made a decision to commit to Yet Another Subscription.
Well, “Avatar: The Way of Water” was absolutely spectacular. If you haven’t seen it yet, I strongly encourage you to check it out. They’re also already working on the 3rd and 4th movie of the franchise, but I digress… After getting pumped up about “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania”, “THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE”, and several others, I decided that the A-List monthly subscription was the one for me. For only $19.95 + Tax, this is what you get:
- Up to 3 FREE movies every week
- FREE refill on your large popcorn
- FREE online reservations
- 10% back on food & drink purchases and more (After spending $50, you get a $5 reward)
- FREE size upgrades on medium popcorn and fountain drinks
- Priority lanes at box office and concessions
- Discount Tuesdays
- Birthday gift (FREE large popcorn and fountain drink)
- Member-exclusive offers, screenings and more!
Need I say more!? This is an amazing deal and no other competitor out there can even come close to matching it.
Since becoming an A-List member, I’ve already saved over $100 this month and I’ve seen some really great movies so far, with even more upcoming movies that I can’t wait to see like, “Fast X” and “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”. One of the coolest features of the whole experience is being able to see featured movies in 3D, which (being a tech nerd and all) is really exciting see because the evolution of CGI and 3D Film has really come a long, long way in the past few decades. So yeah, AMC A-List is worth it! 🙂
