I am pleased to announce that I recently competed in the Shark Tank Competition at Wingate University. I represented my small business and pitched my idea, the NBED TV Mount, to a panel of three expert judges. There were four other competitors there, and they had some very impressive business ideas as well. This was the biggest presentation I have ever given and I had no idea what to expect. I was extremely nervous about getting up there on stage to present my idea to a packed room of audience members, most of whom I’d never met before. Nevertheless, I did extremely well and the judges loved my presentation, offering kind words of encouragement for me to continue my efforts as an inventor. I managed to finish in third place and made off with a check for five hundred dollars! It was such a fun night and those memories will last a lifetime.
